Signs you need 10kVA
- You have two or more ACs you want on solar.
- You have a borehole pump and a freezer.
- You run an office with computers, printers and ACs.
- You run a guest house or small hotel.
Signs 5kVA is enough
- One AC, used for a few hours.
- Normal family loads.
- You want to save money now.
Battery is the real cost
A 10kVA inverter does not cost twice a 5kVA. The big jump is the battery. Running two ACs at night needs a lot of stored power. That is why 10kVA systems need 15kWh or more. Read 5kWh vs 10kWh battery.
